If castles aren’t quite your jam, check out the stunning Buffalo Mountain Lodge. The hand-hewn timber lodge sits on top of Tunnel Mountain, overlooking the town of Banff. Available to rent from the Town of Banff, Tunnel Mountain Reservoir is a gorgeous and no-frills outdoor space for a ceremony. There are no frills needed, though, when you have the stunning Mt. Rundle as your ceremony backdrop! You’ll have to make other arrangements for a reception, but many of our favourite venues will be happy to work with you to plan your party. You’ll be so glad you took the extra effort when you’re standing in front of your loved ones against a backdrop of jaw-dropping mountains.

6. Rimrock Resort

For some of the best wedding views in Banff, look no further than the Rimrock Resort. The space is elegant and modern, with your choice of gorgeous outdoor balconies and terraces for the ceremony, as well as ballrooms and restaurants for a reception. The resort offers incredible food and wine pairings, discounts on room blocks for your guests, and complimentary access to the hotel and hotel grounds during your big day. 7. Park Distillery

For the foodie couple, The Bison is a perfect spot for your dream Banff wedding. The modern, open concept dining room is excellent for a cocktail-style event. The Bison offers chef tasting tables, fresh oyster bars, and hors d’oeuvres stations. Take in the fantastic views with your new spouse and your loved ones while you sip and nibble in style. In the summer, hold your ceremony on the spectacular Lone Pine Lawn or on one of the resort’s large outdoor patios. Party with all of your loved ones in the picturesque timber-frame Cascade Lodge during your truly spectacular celebration. The resort offers catering, alcohol, and even transportation back into town after a long night of festivities.
